Energy Performance Certificates - EPCs

EPCs are required whenever a property is sold or rented. They are also required if you are installing photo-voltaic panels (solar electric) and wish to take advantage of the government’s feed-in tariff. The EPC takes into account age, construction, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), hot water, insulation and lighting. The commercial EPC also takes into account the usage of a property. Each EPC gives the property a rating from A (very efficient) to G (not efficient) and a set of recommendations regarding how to improve the property’s efficiency.

Since their introduction in 2007 we have carried out in excess of 3,000 EPCs for private clients, estate and lettings agents and solar installation companies.  We work with some of the areas largest agents and provide a quick and efficient service.

We are also able to provide commercial EPCs. You will need this in order to sell or let your property and we are able to provide this in house.
